The Crown Prince's International Scholarship Program (CPISP) has received a BHD 200,000 cheque from Kuwait Finance House (KFH) as part of KFH-Bahrain’s 'Platinum' category sponsor status, which requires an overall annual donation of BHD 1 million.
HE Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa, Advisor for Political and Economic Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince, Board Member and Head of the Financial and Administrative Committee of CPISP, has received the cheque from KFH's Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Abdulhakeem Al Khayyat, during a ceremony, held at KHF-Bahrain's headquarters.
HE Shaikh Mohammed thanked KFH-Bahrain for its strong support, noting that sponsors contribute towards the program's objectives of helping prepare exceptional students for the jobs of the future.
Mr. AlKhayyat said: “We would like to praise His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on his unceasing efforts and commitment to educational and training programs aimed at developing the skills and capabilities of Bahrain’s youth. At KFH-Bahrain, we are keen to continue to sponsor these outstanding initiatives."
The Executive Manager, Head of Retail Banking and Private Banking Services at KFH-Bahrain, Mr. Khalid Rafeea, CPISP Director, Dr. Cynthia Gessling, and CPISP Director of Finance and Administrative Affairs, Ms. Shatha Ahmed Ali, were also in attendance.
