His Excellency Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa, Advisor for Political and Economic Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince, and Board Member and Head of the Financial and Administrative Committee of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP), today met the National Bank of Bahrain’s (NBB) CEO, Mr. Jean-Christophe Durand, at the bank’s headquarters in Manama.
During the meeting, the NBB stressed its support to the CPISP, as a platinum sponsor, and highlighted its commitment to enable young Bahraini talents to gain exceptional opportunities in well-renowned universities.
His Excellency Shaikh Mohammed thanked NBB for its continued support and generous contributions to CPISP. His Excellency noted that the support received by sponsors has greatly contributed to CPISP’s achievements, which are aimed at developing the talents and abilities of outstanding Bahraini students and providing them with the best educational opportunities at top academic institutions.
Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Jean-Christophe Durand said “NBB’s commitment to continuous human capital development, to attracting the best talent and to groom future leaders is a strategic priority. We praise the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister to develop educational and training programs aimed at the youth and the development of national cadres”.
The meeting was attended by NBB’s Chief Human Resources Officer, Ms. Dana Buheji, NBB’s Head of Compensation & Benefits, Mr. Shafi Al Mannai, CPISP’s Director, Dr. Cynthia Gessling, and CPISP’s Director of Finance & Administrative Affairs, Ms. Shatha Ahmed Ali.
