Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa, Adviser for Political and Economic Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince and Board Member and Head of the Financial and Administrative Committee of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP), today met the GPIC President, Dr Abdulrahman Jawahery.
During the meeting, Dr Jawahery presented a cheque for BHD 100,000, marking the eighth instalment of the GPIC’s BHD 1 million pledge to CPISP over a ten-year period.
Shaikh Mohammed thanked GPIC for its generous contribution, and for supporting CPISP in its mission to develop the capabilities of Bahraini students, provide them with opportunities to attain degrees at top international universities, and prepare them for the demands of their future careers.
In turn, Dr Jawahery underscored the GPIC’s commitment to supporting CPISP, praising the programme’s achievements and the efforts of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince in supporting Bahraini youth through educational and training programmes. Dr Jawahery also affirmed the importance of the private sector’s role in empowering youth as part of Bahrain’s long-term development.
