Standard Chartered Bank Bahrain announces funding for the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program
Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa, Adviser for Political and Economic Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince and Board Member and Head of the Financial and Administrative Committee of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP), today met Dr Boutros Klink, the Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank Bahrain and the GCC.
During the meeting, Dr. Klink presented a cheque of BHD 30,000, which marks the final instalment of a BHD 50,000 donation that Standard Chartered Bank Bahrain has provided to the CPISP.
Shaikh Mohammed extended his appreciation to the bank for its generous contribution, and for supporting the CPISP in its mission to develop the capabilities of Bahraini students, provide them with opportunities to attain degrees at top international universities, and prepare them for the demands of their future careers.
In turn, Dr Klink underscored the bank’s commitment to supporting CPISP and praised the program’s significant achievements. Dr Klink also praised the efforts of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince in supporting Bahraini youth through educational and training programs.
Also in attendance from Standard Chartered Bank Bahrain was Ms. Noora Al Nusuf, Head of Corporate Affairs and Brand and Marketing. In attendance from CPISP was Ms. Shatha Ahmed Ali, Head of HR, Administrative, Financial, and Student Affairs.
