Advisor for Political and Economic Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince and Board Member and Head of the Financial and Administrative Committee of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP) Sh. Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa, received at his office at the Court, National Bank of Bahrain CEO and Director Mr. Abdulrazak Al Qassim who presented a check for BD 200,000 marking NBB’s 2nd payment of its new BD one million pledge to the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP) as a Platinum Sponsor over the next five years.
Sh. Mohammed thanked NBB for its generous contribution, and for supporting the Program and its objectives to develop the capabilities of outstanding Bahraini students, provide them with opportunities to attain university degrees at top international universities, and prepare them for the demands of the job market by international standards.
From his side, Mr. Abdulrazak stressed NBB’s keenness to support the CPISP as a Platinum Sponsor, praising the Program’s achievements and the efforts of HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa in developing Bahraini youth and launching educational and training programs to develop the talents and abilities of outstanding students. Mr. Abdulrazak also affirmed the importance of the Private Sector’s role in contributing to the development of Bahraini youth and Bahrain’s overall progress and development.
Present at the meeting were NBB Board Secretary Mr. Naser Mohammed Naser, CPISP Head of Administrative, Financial, and Student Affairs Ms. Shatha Ahmed Ali, and CPISP Head of PR and Media Ms. Esmat Ahmed.
