His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister welcomed this year’s recipients of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP) today at Riffa Palace.
His Royal Highness extended his congratulations to all the students for their hard work and commitment, remarking that their selection to CPISP is a testament to their talent and abilities.
His Royal Highness noted that the students should seize the opportunity CRISP provides to learn new skills that will help them fully compete in the modern global economy. His Royal Highness further highlighted that the students have a part to play to support the future success of the country in line with His Majesty King Hamad’s development programme.
His Royal Highness noted that their work during the coming year would help them gain the experience needed to prepare them to be leaders in society and part of the national workforce. His Royal Highness also paid tribute to the parents of the recipients, noting their time and commitment to support their children’s future.
His Royal Highness then thanked the sponsors of the CPISP and their significant contributions to the success of the program, which is now in its 15th year. His Royal Highness went on to highlight that the wide-ranging support afforded to CPISP reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to developing and empowering its national workforce towards positive and sustainable economic development.
